Project Description
Surface: Stainless steel tank of digester
Purpose: Prevent heat losses by radiation to save energy
Coating Solution
First the sander was cleaning and sanded. Thereafter HOT SURFACE COATING was applied in 2 layers (total thickness 3mm). When dry, the digester was sealed with ENAMO GRIP CLEAR for easy cleaning.
Results
Initial surface temperature: 80°C
After 3mm HSC – surface temperature: 40°C
Reduced surface temperature by 50%
